Advertising on Miniature Net

On many pages on Miniature Net, we have banner or text ads shown. These advertisements fall into one of five classes of ads.

2. Paid Advertiser
3. Miniature Net sub/related site
4. Banner Exchange Member
5. Worthy site

We are not responsible for the content shown on advertisers pages where they are not part of the Miniature Net, however, if you find content objectionable, please contact us so we can look into it.

Please note - at this time, we only accept advertising from miniature related sites. The only exception to that would be the miniature focussed web design ads found on the hosting and support areas of the site.

Measuring advertising

We measure banner advertising by impression. An impression is counted each time your banner or text ad is show to a visitor. Our rates are very affordable for even paid advertising, considering each ad is targeted to miniature viewers. We do offer monthly/yearly places in our rotation as other miniature sites do, but believe you will find the impressions worthwhile.

In six months, on two pages alone, we recorded 100,000 impressions.

Records are available for you to check online at any time how your ad is performing. On average, we get a 1% click thru rate. Please realize also that banner and text ads can work as branding tools to build site awareness.

Current Supporting Members

If you are a current supporting member of Miniature Net (ie your site is hosted on Miniature Net), please contact us to arrange for your included ads to be shown. Each supporting member gets 100 ad impressions free with every dollar spent towards hosting.

Paid Advertiser

If you have no need for our hosting services, yet wish to participate in our advertising program, we make banner or text impressions available at $1 per 1000 impressions.

Banner Exchange

Our Banner exchange is again miniature related only - you display the code for banners to be shown on your site, and in exchange, your banner is shown on other sites. The exchange ratio is 2:1 - you show two banners, your banner gets shown elsewhere once. In addition, for each click thru, you get a bonus five impressions of your banner. Please note we have programs in place to catch problems. Cheating is not tolerated.

Worthy Site

From time to time we make blocks of impressions available to worthy sites. This is at our discretion, and while you can apply to be considered, no guarantee is made if, or how many impressions will be available.
